First Boulevard is a Black-owned neobank focused on our community. 81% of Black America already banks exclusively online, so we are excited to provide the tools and platform that’s built specifically for us, by us.
Though unbanked, underbanked, and underserved, the Black community’s $1.4-trillion in annual economic impact provides a significant base to build upon. By providing a platform focused on improving financial livelihood through incentive-based financial education, Black-focused spending, and automated wealth building, First Boulevard helps members remove the stress of
managing their money while also developing positive financial behaviors and habits to reach goals faster.
We are hosting a Black-owned business directory within our mobile banking app, with aspirations to incentivize our members to shop and spend at Black-owned entities as much as possible. Black America has $1.4 trillion in gross national income, yet only 2% of that money, about $26 billion, is re-circulated in the Black community. We are hoping to change that the directory will live within our mobile banking app and will be free for you and other businesses to participate in. We essentially want to incentivize our bank members to shop with and support Black-owned entities as much as possible, as it’s a big part of our mission to keep the Black dollar in the Black community for as long as possible.
